Council would like to inform residents that the Roma waste facility is closed temporarily due to wet weather causing restricted access to the facility.

Council would like to advise Roma residents that due to the severe storm that passed over Roma early this morning, the gas supply to Roma was greatly impacted.

Council will kick off its spring and summer Council Meeting series from September, with the first meeting to be held in Surat on Wednesday, 14 September 2022.

Water is a valuable resource provided by Council to all residential, commercial, and industrial properties in the Maranoa.

Please note, this event has been postponed. A new date is yet to be confirmed.

Council will begin work on Monday 5, September 2022 to the Yuleba watermains. The project will see older mains replaced and upgraded to improve the water pressure and firefighting capability.

Council’s annual Selective Inspection Program is set to commence this week with the program running from Thursday, 1 September to Wednesday, 30 November.
