APLNG Liveability Grants

Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG) Operated by Origin Energy and Maranoa Regional Council are working in partnership to deliver the APLNG Liveability Grant Program. The grants have been established with the objective of supporting projects, events and activities that improve the liveability of the Maranoa and have a direct benefit to Maranoa residents.

There will be two rounds per financial year in 2022/23 and 2023/24. Please read the Grant Guidelines for more information and prior to completing the application form.

Community Grants and Non-Financial Assistance Program

​​Maranoa Regional Council supports not-for-profit organisations with funding for community based projects under its grants program.
 
Announcement:

Funding to community groups for important small-scale activities will double in an innovative three-year partnership between Maranoa Regional Council and Senex Energy.

The partnership has created a Small Grants category under Council’s Community Grants Program, enabling community groups to apply for grants from $500 to $3,000. These funds will be distributed from an annual pool of $30,000 provided equally by Council and Senex. Council will continue to fund the Community Grant category.

Funding for the 2022/23 Financial Year

Round 1 Applications will open Monday, 1 August 2022 and close on Friday, 30 September 2022. 
Round 2​ Applications will open 1 February 2023 and close on 31 March 2023.

    Applicants should contact their Local Development Officer on 1300 007 662 to discuss their project prior to submitting their application.​

     

  • Grant recipients are required to complete the relevant Acquittal Report within two (2) months of the completion of the project, or by the due date specified in the Grant Acceptance Agreement (whichever is earlier).

  • It is a requirement that successful applicants recognise Maranoa Regional Council and Senex where appropriate, in media and advertising opportunities.

Regional Arts Development Fund

Financial assistance for local projects with artistic and cultural outcomes is available through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).

RADF invests in local arts and cultural priorities, as determined by our local communities. The program promotes the role and value of arts, culture and heritage as key drivers to develop sustainable, diverse and prosperous local communities.

The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Maranoa Regional Council to support local arts and culture in the Maranoa.

  • Applications for the 2019-20 Regional Arts Development Fund saw two funding rounds offered to the Art Community. 

    Maranoa Regional Council had an allocation of $30,000 from Arts Queensland to help fund quality art projects.

  • Applications for the 2018-19 Regional Arts Development Fund opened on Friday, 8 February 2019 and closed Monday, 18 March 2019. 

    Maranoa Regional Council had an allocation of $25,000 from Arts Queensland to help fund quality art projects.  The RADF budget for 2018/19 has been fully expended, and no further rounds will be available until early 2020.
