Come celebrate all things Wallumbilla and Yuleba

Join Council for a fun-filled day of celebration and community spirit this Sunday, 14 September as The Wheat Shed and Yuleba Community Projects officially open.

Set to be a sunny day full of excitement and anticipation, the free grand opening events will begin with The Wallumbilla Wheat Shed from 10:00am to 11:30am at 36 George Street Wallumbilla.

The Wallumbilla Wheat Shed project has been delivered in partnership with the Australian Government through the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program and the Maranoa Regional Council and Origin APLNG Workers Transition Agreement.

The Yuleba Community Projects grand opening will follow at 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Stephenson St, Yuleba. This is set to be a fun-filled event for all families and residents as the new Skatepark, Water Play Park and Playground officially opens.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and enjoy a sausage sizzle, refreshments, free barista coffee, and ice cream. There will be free popcorn, lollies and face painting for the kids.

Songline Skateboarding workshop instructor, Josh Weribone calls all kids to bring along a skateboard and ramp up their skills. Josh will be giving skateboarding lessons to kids will all skill levels, play some skate games and challenges along with prizes and giveaways up for grabs.

The Yuleba Community Projects have been delivered as a part of the Maranoa Regional Council and Origin APLNG Workers Transition Agreement.
