A serious dog attack occurred yesterday, Monday 1 September at 2:35pm on the corner of Quintin and George Street at the grassed area at the back of the Maranoa PCYC.

Council would like to thank the community for their assistance in this matter. Your help has been valuable.

A serious dog attack occurred yesterday, Monday 1 September at 2:35pm on the corner of Quintin and George Street at the grassed area at the back of the Maranoa PCYC. 

Council is seeking community assistance for any dashcam, house footage, along with any other information related to the attack.

Council is also seeking the assistance of the young truck driver who intervened in the attack, along with any information on the two light-brown, medium-sized dogs.

Council urges the community that if they see loose dogs matching this description, they should not approach them but instead call Council on 1300 007 662 immediately.

Any information is crucial.
