Kerb and channel works - Roma

Council advises residents that kerb and channel works will commence on Jackson Street, Roma from Thursday, 10 July.

The project will involve the installation of a new kerb and channel on both sides between Foott and Bowen Street.

The works are scheduled for completion at the end of July / early August 2025 weather permitting.

The project is funded through the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program.

Traffic management signage will be in place to guide motorists and pedestrians safely through or around the worksite during construction.

Residents are asked to follow all signage.

Driveway access may be temporarily restricted during works, however Council’s team will be in discussion with affected residents in advance to minimise inconvenience.
