UPDATE: These works have been delayed until 6:30am tomorrow, Thursday 3 July.
Department of Transport and Main Roads has advised Council of the temporary closure of Caroline Street / Warrego Highway intersection starting at 12:00pm noon today, Wednesday 2 July.
The works are planned to continue through to 12:00pm noon Friday, 4 July 2025.
This closure is to accompany resurfacing works.
Residents are asked to access the Mitchell motel, BP service station, and Samios steel works via Sophia Street or Oxford Street during this time.
