Roma Cemetery Works - Irrigation Upgrade

Irrigation works will commence at the Roma Cemetery next Monday, 28 April.

These works are expected to take up to three weeks, during this time there will be limited access to the cemetery from 7:00am to 4:00pm on weekdays. 

Works will include modifications to all existing irrigation via the main road, the installation of a tank and manifold pump system in the North West corner of the cemetery along with trenching for 4 new beam areas. 

The new beams will be installed in late June 2025. 

Council acknowledges the importance of maintaining the utmost respect when working around loved ones and will take every measure to ensure minimal disruption during these works. 

The updgrades will help preserve the dignity of the site while providing a more sustainable and visually appealing environment for familes and the community.
