THINK LOCAL TO WIN THIS CHRISTMAS!

As the holiday season quickly approaches and Christmas shopping becomes high on the priority list, Council is encouraging residents to “Think Local First this Christmas” and purchase gifts locally.

“Think Local First this Christmas” is an initiative of Maranoa Regional Council, in partnership with local businesses and the community that offers customers the chance to win some awesome prizes!

Thanks to the generosity of local donations, the exciting prizes on offer this year are:

·        Major Prize 1: Outdoor Dining Set, BBQ and Gazebo valued at $2000 (donated by Sunshine Mitre 10 Roma) 

·        Major Prize 2: Sealy Queen Bed Package valued at $2000 (donated by Roma Betta Home Living) 

·        Prize 3: Gardening & Lawn Care Package valued at $1500 (donated by Roma Home Timber & Hardware) 

·        Prize 4: $500 Shop Local Dollars (donated by Roma Commerce & Tourism)  

To enter the competition, spend $10 or more in one transaction at a participating business in the Maranoa, scan the QR code available at the store of purchase and enter your details. If you are unable to scan the QR code, present your original receipt to any Maranoa Regional Council, Customer Service Centre for your chance to enter.

The campaign is now underway, and shoppers have until 7:30pm on Thursday, 2 December to get their entries submitted. The winners will be drawn at the Maranoa Region, Street Christmas Party on Thursday, 2 December 2021.
