Road closures for Cobb and Co Festival

Temporary Surat Road Closures for the Cobb & Co Festival.

Council would like to advise Surat businesses and residents of temporary road closure dates and approximate times that will affect Surat and Yuleba during the Cobb & Co Festival held 16 - 25 August 2024.

Sunday 18 August

• Marcus Street - 8:00am to 4:30pm

Thursday 22 August

• Marcus Street - 2:30pm to 3:30pm

Friday 23 August

• Marcus Street - 6:30am to 4:30pm

Saturday 24 August

• Marcus Street - 6:00am to 12noon
• Burrowes Street - 6:00am to 10:00am (between Duck Pond Park and Cordelia Street)
• Surat to Condamine Highway section (Yuleba-Surat Road) - 6.30am to 3pm
• Condamine Highway to Yuleba (sealed section) - 12noon to 1pm on Sunday, 25 August

Sunday, 25 August

• Stephenson's Street, Yuleba and the Yuleba Railway holding yards - 6.30am to 4pm

Please note as Burrowes Street will be closed between the Duck Pond Park and Cordelia Street on Saturday 24 August 2024, a temporary diversion will be in place along William Street during this time. Residents may notice additional heavy vehicles during the use of this detour.

Traffic management signage will be in place to guide the community around the affected streets during the event.

Throughout the event, the affected streets will be supervised by Council staff and can, if required, be reopened to emergency services.
