Potable Water Update for Surat

Maranoa Regional Council wishes to advise that recently repaired equipment at the Surat Water Treatment Plant continues to undergo testing and commissioning by external technical experts.

The Boil Water Notice, as mandated by Queensland Health, remains in place until this process has been completed. Council is committed to lifting this notice as soon as possible and apologises for the inconvenience. Council extends its gratitude to the community for your ongoing patience and understanding during this time.
