In the second round of funding provided through the Maranoa Regional Council and Australian Pacific LNG's Liveability Grant Program, more than $122,000 will be given to benefit a range of projects.

The grant program supports projects, activities, and events that enhance the lives of residents in the Maranoa region. Two more rounds of grants will be given out later this year with more than $250,000 available.

Mayor Tyson Golder said on behalf of Maranoa Regional Council he would like to congratulate all the successful applicants who have received funding this round.

“We’re proud to support these excellent projects and can’t wait to see them come to fruition. I would like to thank Origin – APLNG, for working with Council to deliver this outcome,” Cr Golder said.

Australia Pacific LNG CEO Khoa Doa said the company was pleased to work with Maranoa Regional Council to provide this funding to local community groups to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for local communities.
