At Council’s ordinary meeting 8 June 2022, Council resolved to provide RADF grants as a continuing open grant for 2023, allowing community groups to apply for RADF grants all year round.

Do you or a group you’re involved in have an arts and/or cultural development project you are seeking financial assistance for?

If the answer is yes, Council encourages you to apply for a Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) grant. The grant program supports a wide variety of projects that help promote the value of developing art and culture in the region, bringing your big ideas to life.

Mayor Tyson Golder said RADF Grants give individuals in the Maranoa who are passionate about arts and culture a helping hand for their projects.

“We encourage all arts and cultural minded individuals to apply for these grants. It promotes creativity and allows arts and cultural groups to develop new opportunities in our region,” Cr Golder said.

To apply, download RADF funding guidelines and application forms at https://www.maranoa.qld.gov.au/grants-funding, or visit your local Council Customer Service Centre or Library.

Applications are now open and will remain open for the year. Assessment of these applications will take place as applications are received.

For more information or to discuss your idea, please contact Council’s Regional Arts and Culture Officer, on 1300 007 662.

The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Maranoa Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
