LOUISA STREET TO RECEIVE NEW KERB AND CHANNEL

Kerb and channel works

Maranoa Regional Council would like to advise residents that kerb and channel works are due to commence on Louisa Street, Mitchell around mid-October 2022.

The works, which are scheduled to take approximately 3-4 weeks, will see new kerb and channel installed on the section of Louisa Street between Dublin and Edinburgh Streets. The works are scheduled to be completed by mid-November, weather permitting.

To accommodate these works, Louisa Street (between Dublin Street and Edinburgh Street) will be open to local traffic only. Detour signage will be established for all other traffic. Council will be in contact with residents adjacent to the worksite and work closely with them to minimise impacts of the works. 

Temporary signage also will be in place to help guide motorists and pedestrians safely through the works.
