Councils Spring Summer Meeting series commences this month, starting in Surat!

Council will kick off its spring and summer Council Meeting series from September, with the first meeting to be held in Surat on Wednesday, 14 September 2022.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting and are invited to a ‘Meet and Greet’ with the Mayor and Councillors. The meeting will commence at 9am and will continue throughout the day. Residents will have the chance to catch up with Mayor and Councillors during morning tea and lunch break. Please see details of the meeting below:

Ordinary Meeting

Time: Commences at 9am and will continue throughout the day

Where: Council’s Surat Administration Centre

Community Meet & Greets

Time: 10.30am – 11am                   Time: 1pm – 2pm

Where: Riverwalk Canteen             Where: New Royal Hotel

In the evening, Council will be officially opening the new SES Boat Shed and members of the community are welcome to attend. The opening ceremony will commence at 5.30pm and will be held at 55 Robert Street, Surat (opposite the State School).
