Maranoa Regional Council to join the Small Business Friendly Program

The Small Business Friendly Program is an initiative from the Queensland Small Business Commissioner which aims to help councils reduce barriers between large organisations and small businesses and enhance the operating environment for small business.

Maranoa Regional Council is committed to engaging, showcasing and raising the profile of small businesses. Council is proud to be signing the Small Business Friendly Charter and invites the small business community to attend the signing event:

Council will also be welcoming the Honourable Di Farmer, Minister for Employment and Small Business, and Maree Adshead, Queensland Small Business Commissioner, to the signing event.

Mayor Tyson Golder said this is a great opportunity for small business and Council to come together for better business outcomes for everyone.

“I believe this is a great initiative from the Queensland Small Business Commissioner and encourage small businesses in the region to get behind this opportunity and work with council for better business outcomes.” Said Cr Golder.
