At Council’s ordinary meeting on 8 June 2022, Council resolved to provide Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) grants as a continuing open grant for 2022/23.

This allows community groups to apply for RADF grants all year round without having to wait for a round to open.

Do you or a group you’re involved with have an arts and/or cultural development project you are seeking financial assistance for?

If the answer is yes, Council encourages you to apply for a RADF grant. The grant program supports a wide variety of projects that help promote the value of developing art and culture in the region, bringing your big ideas to life.

Mayor Tyson Golder said RADF grants give individuals in the Maranoa who are passionate about arts and culture a helping hand for their projects.

“We encourage all individuals and groups who are passionate about arts and culture to apply for these grants. It promotes creativity and allows arts and cultural groups to develop new opportunities in our region” Cr Golder said.

Applications are now open and will remain open for the 2022/2023 financial year. Applications will be assessed as they are receievd.

To apply, download RADF funding guidelines and application forms at https://www.maranoa.qld.gov.au/grants-funding, or visit your local Council Customer Service Centre or Library.

For more information or to discuss your idea, please contact Council’s Regional Arts and Culture Officer, on 1300 007 662.
