Roma Saleyards Raises $46,878.37 for Royal Flying Doctor Service at Charity Sale

Council will donate $46,878.37 to the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) (Queensland Section).

The donation follows Council's decision to donate 50% of the liveweight and open auction selling fees received for each head of cattle sold at the Roma Saleyards Store Sale on Tuesday, 12 July 2022.

Mayor Tyson Golder thanks all that attended the charity event for their generosity in supporting the RFDS.

“I am pleased to announce over 7,000 head of cattle were sold on the day, the donations resulting from this sale will contribute to a fantastic cause that benefits all regional and remote communities,” Cr Golder said.
