Roma CBD to shine blue in support of National Corrections Day

Tonight, Roma’s CBD will glow blue for National Corrections Day.

The National Corrections Day initiative recognises the important work of corrective services officers in protecting communities across Australia.

Corrective services are a key responsibility of the Queensland Government, and along with the courts and police, are a central component of the criminal justice system.

The theme of this year’s National Corrections Day is Corrections, on the front line of community safety. Queensland Corrective Services, in partnership with other key criminal justice agencies, are committed to the critical role of community safety and crime prevention.
