Amby bore set to be complete by the end of next week

Maranoa Regional Council is pleased to announce that the Amby bore is set to be complete by the end of next week.

Mayor Tyson Golder said in consultation with the Amby community, it was identified a new water source was needed in the area to improve the drinking water as well as water used for gardens.

“Council is extremely delighted to be able to provide this new bore to the Amby community, with one resident especially excited for the opportunity to grow roses in Amby,” Cr Golder said.

“Residents should see a slow improvement in water quality, which will continue to improve with time and be noticeably better.”
