School Holidays

Keep an eye on this webpage and on our socials for Council's Summer and Winter School Holiday programs set to help everyone get the most out of their 'schools-out' time.

In 2025, Queensland school term dates and holidays are:

  • Term 1: 28 January - 4 April accompanied by a two-week holiday from 5 - 21 April
  • Term 2: 22 April - 27 June accompanied by a two-week holiday from 28 June - 13 July
  • Term 3: 14 July - 19 September accompanied by a two-week holiday from 20 September - 6 October
  • Term 4: 7 October - 12 December accompanied by a six-week holiday from 13 December - 26 January. 

Please note that some schools extend their school holidays.
