Unlock Opportunities with the Launch of the Community Grants Program!
Is your community group in search of funding for an upcoming project or event?
The second round of Council’s Community Grants Program is now accepting applications. We invite community and not-for-profit organisations to apply for financial assistance to support their activities, projects or events.
The program presents a valuable opportunity for groups to embark on projects with the backing of both Council and Senex Energy. The Community Grant categories include:
- Small Grant (co-funded by Senex Energy) $500-$3,000
- Community Grant $3,001-$10,000
- Major Grant $10,001-$20,000
Council recognises the crucial role of community groups and their significant contribution to the enhancement, enrichment and overall liveability of Maranoa communities. Council is dedicated to supporting these groups for projects in diverse categories including Community Development, Culture and Heritage, Environment, Community Events, Sport and Recreation, and Economic Development.
Senex Community Relations Manager Trevor Robertson said Senex was proud to have partnered with Maranoa Regional Council since 2019 to support projects of local organisations through the joint Small Community Grants program.
“With Senex’s support these grants have funded local clubs, organisations and associations to improve facilities and host events,” Mr Robertson said.
“Partnering with Maranoa Council allows Senex to directly support the community it lives, works and operates in. These grants make a big difference and have a very real and direct impact by making our community just that little bit better.”
