Seniors Month

Queensland Seniors Month is celebrated in October each year, and Maranoa Regional Council gets involved organising a range of activities to facilitate community participation and recognise the important contribution older people make in their families and communities.

In the week's leading up to Seniors Month, Council will publish a full program of events here.

Seniors enjoyed being served lunch by councillors at the regional free luncheon and entertainment as a part of a 2025 Seniors Month celebrations.
