National Volunteer Week is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering.

This special event highlights the important role of volunteers in our community and invites people not currently volunteering to give it a go

Maranoa Regional Council celebrates our volunteers with the rest of Australia annually, recognising the invaluable contribution they make to our communities.

National Volunteer Week will be held on18-24 May 2026, and this year's theme is 'Your Year to Volunteer'.
