Payment Arrangement Options

Did you know that you can apply to set up a payment arrangement to pay by weekly, fortnightly or monthly installments?

Council offers ratepayers options to set up a payment arrangement. Rates and charges must be paid in full by the end of the current half yearly rates period as per Council’s Debtor Management Policy.(PDF, 195KB)

How to request a payment arrangement: 

You can request to pay your current rates by installments. Complete the application form and return to Council either by email: council@maranoa.qld.gov.au or post to: Maranoa Regional Council PO Box 620 Roma, QLD 4455 or deliver the form to one of Council's Customer Service Centres.

Contact the Rates & Utilities Team on 1300 007 662 and a rate payment arrangement can be considered.  

A confirmation letter will be issued to the ratepayer/s outlining the terms and conditions of the payment arrangement, including a payment schedule.

NOTE: Interest will still accrue on outstanding amounts even if a customer is in a payment arrangement.
