Get ready – the Annual Kerbside Collection is returning in March 2026!
Maranoa Regional Council is pleased to share that the Annual Kerbside Collection campaign will be kicking off soon - commencing on Monday, 2 March and concluding on Friday, 13 March.
As part of Council’s Keep Maranoa Beautiful campaign, the two-week collection will enable residents to dispose of large household items, green waste and metal waste.
Maranoa Regional Councillor and Portfolio Spokesperson for Town Beautification Amber Davis said that the kerbside collection campaign is an extremely important service for the Maranoa.
“As part of Council’s sustainability efforts, the kerbside collection is valuable in providing residents with an opportunity to reduce their waste, free of charge, every year,” Cr Davis said.
“Residents’ participation is greatly appreciated as their involvement positively contributes to keeping the Maranoa clean, green and free of clutter.”
To ensure that the collection process is smooth and efficient, Council kindly requests that residents refrain from placing items on the kerb until Friday, 27 February 2026.
