Maranoa residents are advised that Council are conducting water meter readings over the coming weeks.
To assist our meter readers, we kindly ask that you ensure the area immediately surrounding your water meter is clean, clear and easily accessible. This includes making sure it is not covered by dirt or weeds, and is not surrounded by overgrown grass or bushes.
For most households, meter readers will be able to complete readings with no interruption.
If your water meter is located inside your property fence, the team may need to enter your yard. If your meter is inaccessible, for reasons such as dogs, locked gates etc, Council will be in contact to arrange a suitable time for the reading to be completed.
