Do you have a photo of your four-legged friend where they just look so adorably spoilt?

Now is your chance to show off your dog and win by submitting your photo via email to communications@maranoa.qld.gov.au before 5:00pm, 30 September. 

The winner will be chosen and revealed at the 2026 Bark in the Park event happening at the Roma Dog Park on Saturday, 3 October. 

Regardless of if you have a spoilt dog or not, Council encourages people to come along to this tail-wagging-great event from 10:00am – 12:30pm to:

  • Celebrate the recent upgrades to the Roma Dog Park
  • Enjoy a live working dog demonstration by ABC’s ‘Muster Dogs’ program and agricultural influencer Renee Spencer (@Brownhatttt)
  • Enjoy the markets on offer (or obtain a market stall of your own: maranoa.co/BarkinthePark2026StallHolderEOIs) 
  • Meet other dogs and dog owners
  • Free face painting
