Attendees enjoyed the festivities on offer including an array of pet stalls, demonstrations, competitions and an opportunity to have their say on the $50,000 Roma Off Leash Dog Park upgrades.

Spokesperson for Community Safety, Councillor Amber Davis opened the event.

“This was a fantastic day out celebrating our four-legged-friends and the special place they hold in our lives and community,” Cr Davis said.

“This event was all about encouraging responsible pet ownership, supporting local pet businesses and services, and of course, having fun with our dogs in a safe and social environment.”

Award winners for the competitions were:

  • Best Dressed: Nala the Border Collie
  • Smallest Dog: Athena the Jack Russell
