Exhibition synopsis:
The Heart of the Coolabah explores life in outback Queensland—highlighting isolation, connection to country, and strong community ties. Roads and rivers move through the landscape like arteries, sustaining the spirit of the outback. Between land and sky, it reflects a place where life is sacred and solitude is valued.
The works were developed following Andrea’s visit to Tambo and the surrounding region. Having grown up in outback Australia, she invites audiences to connect with shared memories of a meaningful place.
Exhibition is on display 11 July- 30 August 2026.
