Council advises residents that Altanks will commence the installation of a new reservoir on the corner Burke Street and High Street in Wallumbilla on Thursday, 12 March 2026.
Weather permitting, the estimated timeframe to complete the installation is five days.
The new installation is to replace the now removed failed reservoir, which can be seen in the below image.
The new reservoir will provide an additional reservoir for this site, adding further storage and reliability to the town’s supply.
