Thank you to everyone who attended the recent Wild Dog Trapping & Pest Management Information Sessions held across the region.

The sessions provided practical information and live demonstrations on a range of pest management techniques, including trap preparation and setup, effective trapping methods, pest ejectors, 1080 baiting, working dogs in pest management, the wild dog scalp incentive process, and the use of FeralScan for monitoring and reporting.

It was great to see strong participation from landholders and community members, with sessions held in Injune, Roma, Mitchell, Surat and Wallumbilla.

The sharing of local knowledge, experiences and practical trapping techniques generated valuable discussions and positive feedback from attendees.  This collaboration is an important part of strengthening pest animal management efforts across the region.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment to wild dog management and for working together to protect our agricultural industries, livestock and local communities.
