Wild dog trapping and pest management information sessions

Council announces wild dog trapping & pest management information sessions across the Maranoa
Landholders and community members are invited to attend upcoming Trapping & Pest Management Information Sessions designed to provide practical, hands-on guidance to support effective pest animal control across the region.
These sessions will include demonstrations and discussion on:
- Trap setup and trapping techniques
- Pest ejector use
- 1080 baiting information
- Working dogs in pest management
- Current scalps process updates
- Using FeralScan for monitoring and reporting
Lunch will be provided for registered participants.
Registration Information

- Registrations close: 5:00pm, Thursday, 11 June 2026
- Registration is required for catering purposes
Injune, Roma, Surat and Wallumbilla Session Times: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Mitchell Session Time: 8:00am – 12:00pm
An optional Indian Myna Bird Management session will be held in Roma following the main program.
