Council would like to advise residents that the Roma, Mitchell, Jackson and Surat Libraries will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, 13 May 2026.
The libraries will be closed in the morning and will reopen to resume services at 1:00pm.
The temporary closures are occurring to allow staff to attend a regional Library Strategic Planning Workshop in Roma.
The workshop is part of developing the Maranoa Libraries’ ten year strategic plan, helping shape future services for the community.
