UPDATE: Services resumed for Mitchell and surrounds Front Lift Bin Col

Front lift bin collection services have now been restored and are being carried out by an alternative service provider for the areas of Mitchell, Amby Transfer Station, and the Muckadilla Transfer Station. 

Council apologises for the inconvenience caused during the disruption. 

Please note that not all services will be able to be completed today; any missed collections will be rescheduled and completed at a later date.

Temporary Service Interruption: Mitchell Front Lift Bin Collections

Front lift bin collection services in the Mitchell and surrounding areas have been placed on hold. 

This is due to a mechanical breakdown of the contractor’s collection vehicle.

The contractor has advised that repairs will be carried out as a priority. Once the vehicle is operational, catch-up collection services will be undertaken as soon as possible.

Council will keep the community informed when the service resumes.
