Bassett Lane East and Lovell Street will be temporarily closed to allow construction of the shared bike and pedestrian pathway.
Works are being actively progressed with the aim of reopening both roads as quickly as possible. Subject to weather conditions, works at these locations are expected to be completed by early February, and where safe to do so, roads will be reopened earlier.
During the closures, east–west access will remain available via McPhee Street, Miscamble Street and George Street West. Traffic management and signage will be in place to help motorists and pedestrians move safely around the work area.
