Council can advise residents that the boil water alert for Mungallala has been lifted as of today, Friday 15 May.
Residents in Mungallala can now use the tap water for drinking without boiling.
Council has worked closely with Queensland Health and the Drinking Water Regulator to monitor the water supply and has now received approval to lift the notice.
Residents should flush out affected water from the pipes in their home.
