Temporary Water Restrictions: Mitchell

**UPDATE 4.45PM TUESDAY 23 DECEMBER 2025**

Repairs have been made to the township bore and as a result residents are now able to return to their normal watering schedule and usage.

Council thanks residents for reducing their water consumption whilst repairs were being made.

Council advises residents in Mitchell that due to unscheduled maintenance on the townships bore there is temporary water restrictions in place as a result of limited water availability.

Residents of Mitchell are asked to please limit their town water usage wherever possible, including no usage of sprinklers. Council assures residents that there has been no impact to the water quality.

Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience during this time. Council will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide an update when possible.
