Julie Reitano is responsible for the short and long term strategies of Council as well as the everyday operations of Council. Julie comes to Council with extensive experience in Queensland local government and business qualifications to match. She commenced her working life after university as a trainee accountant with Cairns City Council, going on to hold progressively senior roles with councils across the state.
Director - Corporate, Community & Commercial Services
Sharon Frank is responsible for the delivery of corporate, community and commercial services including administration and information services, elected members, community engagement, corporate communications, customer service facilitation, finance, Roma Saleyards and Roma Quarry, Healthy Communities program, community care programs, housing, disability employment service and a range of social development programs and services.
Director - Development, Facilities & Environmental Services
Rob Hayward is responsible for land use planning, building applications, environment protection, stock routes, health, licensing, pest management, waste collection, Council buildings and facilities, economic development, libraries, arts and culture and tourism.
Director - Infrastructure Services
Cameron Castles is responsible for all issues regarding maintenance and renewal of Council infrastructure such as roads, water, sewerage, drainage, plant, parks and gardens, public walkways and waste collection.
