​Big Ideas Forum is an event organised by the Business Excellence Program (BEP). BEP is a partnership between Maranoa Regional Council, Queensland Government, Commerce Roma, Santos and TAFE Queensland.

Councillor Cameron O'Neil, Portfolio Chair for Economic Development said Bernard Salt is one of the most in-demand speakers on the Australian corporate speaking circuit.

"Bernard Salt is an internationally renowned columnist, speaker, business advisor and media commentator," Cr O'Neil said.

"This will be an exciting event for our local business community - Bernard will be discussing a 10 year vision for the Maranoa, with examples of what future workforces and customers could look like, and how to adapt to their changing needs.

"Matthew Pryor (Partner at AgThentic) and Brett Schimming (CEO of Construction Skills Queensland) will also be sharing their insights on the future of our agricultural and construction industries."

Tickets are $55 for individuals residing within the Maranoa region and $95 for individuals residing outside the Maranoa region, and will include morning tea and lunch.
