Highest prices in almost two years at February's first store sale
Roma Saleyards first store sale of February 2020 have recorded prices of up to 400c/kg, prices which have not been seen for almost two years at the Saleyards.
The sale topping Droughtmaster Murray Grey cross steers sold for 400c/kg, reaching a top of $956 to average $956.
Councillor Peter Flynn, Portfolio Chair for Roma Saleyards said he was thrilled to see yesterday’s prices hitting 400c/kg.
“February has started strongly at the Roma Saleyards and I am hopeful we will see these strong prices continue,” Cr Flynn said.
“The Roma Saleyards is a fantastic asset to beef producers within and beyond our region.”
