Mosquito fogging to commence in the Maranoa

Fogging is set to commence in Surat on Monday, 12 April 2021, between 6.30am and 7.30am (weather permitting) and will continue in Mitchell and Injune the following weeks.

The fogger, which sounds similar to a motor vehicle with no exhaust, uses a mix of a chemical and diesel to create the 'fog' and kills flying adult mosquitoes, sand flies and midges. It does not harm humans or pets.
