Christmas Closure of Council Administration Centres

At the General Meeting held on 23 September 2009, Council approved a period of closure for its administration centres in the region over the Christmas period.
Council's administration offices located in Injune, Mitchell, Surat, Roma and Yuleba, including all Council libraries, the Surat Child Care Centre and the Roma Neighbourhood Centre will be closed from close of business on Wednesday 23rd of December to Friday 1st of January 2010, inclusive.
CEO Stuart Randle said the office closure on Christmas Eve “will allow time for staff to travel away for Christmas to spend time with families and close friends”.
Normal Council functions will return on Monday 4th of January 2010.
Council’s emergency contact arrangements for all communities will be made available closer to the holiday period.
