Maranoa Comedy Roadshow to kick off late September
Council invites residents to attend the free Maranoa Comedy Roadshow coming to the region at the end of September featuring Fiona O’Loughlin and Sean Woodland.
Maranoa Comedy Roadshow events are scheduled to take place:
Wednesday, 27 September – 6.30pm
Surat Shire Hall, Surat.
Thursday, 28 September – 6.30pm
Mitchell Shire Hall, Mitchell.
Friday, 29 September – 6.30pm
Yuleba Memorial Hall, Yuleba.
Saturday, 30 September – 6.30pm
Bymount Hall, Bymount.
Fiona O’Loughlin is an Australian comedian known for her television performance on ABC TV’s Spicks and Specks and her performance as a headline act in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Sean Woodland is a multi-award winning comedian and has been in the comedy scene for over 10 years winning the hearts of his audience and earning worldwide acclaim.
Councillor Cameron O’Neil, Portfolio Chair for Events said these comedy shows have been made possible with funding received to provide social events for drought affected residents. This event is a great way to unwind, relax and have a laugh.
“Events like these bring our communities together and boosts morale. We’re thrilled to have comedians of this calibre visit the region,” Cr O’Neil said.
Food and drink will be available for purchase at all events.
