Help celebrate Harmony Day in the Maranoa
Council is calling all multicultural community members to share their stories about their background, experiences and culture to help celebrate Harmony Day.
Harmony Day is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values.
Councillor Janelle Stanford, Portfolio Chair for Community & Social Services said Maranoa is now called home by many people of different backgrounds all contributing to our wonderful region.
“Our community’s cultural diversity is one of our strengths in the Maranoa region,” Cr Stanford said.
