Council Grants Program Council Grants Program

Council supports not-for-profit organisations with funding for community based projects under its grants program.

Funding to community groups for important small-scale activities will double in an innovative three-year partnership between Maranoa Regional Council and Senex Energy.

The partnership has created a Small Grants category under Council’s Community Grants Program, enabling community groups to apply for grants from $500 to $3,000. These funds will be distributed from an annual pool of $30,000 provided equally by Council and Senex. Council will continue to fund the Community Grant and Major Grant categories.

Further information about Senex activities in the Maranoa region can be found on their website

Congratulations to the following recipients for their successful applications in Round 2, 2018/19.  Over $95,000 was provided in funding for total project costs of over $238,000.
