Council Grants Program
COMMUNITY GRANTS PROGRAM
Council supports not-for-profit organisations with funding for community based projects under its grants program.
Funding under the 2018/2019 financial year:
Applications must be received by the Council by no later than 5pm on the funding round closing date. Dates for Round 2 may be subject to change. Round 1 closed on 1 October 2018.

Applicants should contact their Local Development Officer on 1300 007 662 to discuss their project prior to submitting their application.
GRANTS PROGRAM ACQUITTAL
Grant recipients are required to complete the relevant Acquittal Report within two (2) months of the completion of the project, or by the due date specified in the Grant Acceptance Agreement (whichever is earlier).

It is a requirement that successful applicants recognise Maranoa Regional Council, where appropriate, in media and advertising opportunities.

Tips for Success
- Discuss your project and application with your Local Development Officer
- Make sure your project is in line with Council's Community Plan – include a reference!
- Start gathering support documentation early i.e. financial statements, letters of support
- Submit your application early and ask for feedback
- Answer all questions and sign where required
