Notice is given under the Planning Act 2016 and Schedule 5 of the Minister's Guidelines and Rules that on 10 February 2021 Maranoa Regional Council resolved to adopt a minor amendment to the Maranoa Planning Scheme titled "Minor Amendment No.1 2021 (Flood Regulation)". The adopted amendment will take effect on and from 19 February 2021.
Purpose and general effect
The purpose of the amendment is to:
- Update the Roma flood hazard overlay map;
- Update references to the State Government interactive mapping system in the Flood hazard overlay code; and
- Clearly identify the categories of assessment and assessment benchmarks that apply to development within the Flood hazard overlay and align assessment processes and benchmarks to the development type, strategic intent for the premises and anticipated flood hazard.
