Council is currently undertaking a review of aged care services in the region including the future operation of the Maranoa Retirement Village in Mitchell which Council owns and manages.

Council engaged an independent aged care services expert to report on ways to reduce significant ratepayer subsidies currently required to keep the facility operational.
