EmployABILITY
Who are we?
EmployABILITY is one of the many employment agencies operating in Queensland that has been established to help you enter the workforce. Disability Employment Network Services such as EmployABILITY enable people who experience a variety of minor barriers to obtain and retain paid employment in the open workforce. This is achieved by identifying potential job placements and then providing training and support to assist workers perform their duties to the required standard.
Our Vision
Maranoa Regional Council will take every necessary step to ensure that the management of programs like EmployABILITY focuses on long-term sustainability. Accordingly, its Vision for EmployABILITY has altered to include an emphasis on financial viability and the development of a more corporate profile. The vision as articulated by Council and agreed by the staff is as follows:
By June 2010, EmployABILITY will be a profitable community services program of Maranoa Regional Council. It is valued by the community, as a professional employment assistance agency for people who with disability experience barriers to employment.
Our Mission
"To assist people with disability to gain employment and experience improved lifestyle." We achieve this by promoting the ability of people wiith barriers to employment to achieve rewarding employment and community integration.
